Mr. Ndyagambaki is an enrolled Advocate with a Bachelors of Laws Degree (LLB) and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip LP) and has completed studies for a Masters in Law degree (LLM) from Makerere University. He has over 14 years’ experience in litigation, contracts and claims management, advisory and legal consultancy. He has lengthy experience in Litigation notably having litigated a number of high value cases in the high Court, including notably; Imperial Bank (Uganda) Ltd v Mugomba Janet resulting in judgment for recovery of approx. UGX 1,100,000,000, Bank Of India (Uganda) Ltd v. Ecomax Ltd & 2 ors resulting in judgement for recovery of approx Ug shs 1,200,000,000, Fred Picho Kerali v Hellen Busingye & Anor resulting in judgment for recovery of prime property worth over Ug Shs 2,000,000,000/- among other matters successfully argued. He also has key experience in the financial sector and currently does securities perfection, litigation, debt collection and advisory for Exim Bank (Uganda) Limited, NCBA Bank Uganda Limited, Bank Of India (Uganda) Limited, KCB Bank Uganda Ltd, Equity Bank Uganda Ltd and ABC Capital Bank Limited having previously advised Bank Of Africa (Uganda) Ltd and Orient Bank Uganda Ltd. He has experience in tax disputes having advised several clients on tax disputes including World Wide Movers Ltd, The Uganda Safaris Ltd, fine Spinners Uganda Ltd, SBI international Holdings AG (Uganda), Reynolds Construction Company (N) Ltd among others. He further has key experience in the Construction Sector and the FIDIC contracts and has advised on a number of major contracts and project claims including but not limited to: Major Contracts negotiated and concluded: October 2017, he advised SBI International Holdings AG with the Contract Agreement for the construction of the Kikagati Hydro Power Project- approximately US $ 44 million. March 2016, he advised SBC (Uganda) Ltd connection with the Contract Agreement for the Development of Kabaale International Airport in Hoima, Uganda- approx. US $ 300 million December 2014, he advised Reynolds Construction Company and SBI Int’l Holdings AG (U) in connection with the contract for the Upgrading Of Mukono-Kyetume-Katosi/Kisoga-Nyenga Road Project –approx. US $ 78 million December 2014, he advised SBI Int’l Holdings AG (U) in connection with the contract for Mukono-Kayunga/Bukoloto-Njeru Road Project- approx. US $ 62 million. Major Disputes Resolved. May 2022 He successfully represented SBI Int’l Holdings AG (U) (SBI) in an Adjudication of a Claim against the Uganda National Roads Authority in relation to the Design and Build for the Mukono-Kalagi-Kayunga and Bukoto- Njeru Road Project wherein the Contractor was awarded the sum of approximately US $ 500,000 December 2021, He successfully represented SBI Int’l Holdings AG (U) (SBI) in an Adjudication of a Claim against the Uganda National Roads Authority in relation to the Civil works for Upgrading the Mukono-Kyetume-Katosi Kisoga-Nyenga Road Project wherein SBI was awarded the sum of approximately US $ 1,500,000. December 2019, He successfully represented SBI Int’l Holdings AG (U) (SBI) in an Adjudication of a Claim against the Uganda National Roads Authority in relation to the Design and Build Contract for Strengthening/Rehabilitation of Malaba/Busia-Bugiri Road Project wherein SBI was awarded the sum of approximately US $ 400,000. December 2018, He successfully advised and negotiated an arbitration claim in an amicable settlement for SBI Int’l Holdings AG (U) (SBI) for the construction of the Kikagati Hydro Power Project- wherein SBI was awarded approx US $ 2,500,000. October 2018, He successfully advised and negotiated a claim in an amicable settlement for Reynolds Construction Company (RCC) for Construction of the Mbarara-Ntungamo-Katuna Road Section of the Northern Corridor; Lot 2 Road Project, wherein RCC was awarded approx- US $ 1,000,000. August 2017, He successfully advised and negotiated a variation Claim for Consultancy Services by SBI Int’l Holdings AG (U) (SBI) for the Design and Supervision of the Lubowa Housing Project- wherein SBI was awarded approx US $ 700,000.
